Another painting provided for me on the Dalrymple walking track, west of Ingham. It was a strange day, with a light haze and a pink glow from the pink granite rocks which gave an almost other worldly feel to the scene. I used watercolour over oil pastel to create the contrast between the rocks and the smooth bark of the River Gum. It is my daughter’s favourite.
