Description

Here is its poem.

Fresh Pick

Fire has swept this land and left it clean,

Though trees have suffered, yet they still survive.

Their memories sustain them, what they have been,

They’ll grow again, and they may even thrive.

Though trees have suffered, yet they still survive,

The charcoal from past lives will now sustain them.

They’ll grow again, and they may even thrive,

The leaves have withered, but fire hurt not the stem.

The charcoal from past lives will now sustain them,

Slow fires will clear the land, more grass to sow,

The leaves have withered, but fire hurt not the stem,

Fire has made space, allows new plants to grow.

Slow fires may clear the land, more grass to sow,

Their memories sustain them, what they have been.

Fire has made space, allows new plants to grow,

Fire has swept this land, and left it clean.
