L Ed Lithographic(400)

Another of my original lithographic print series, a limited edition of 400. I had been giving a workshop on oil painting, and suggested the Maiden’s Blush creeper on my clothes line as a subject.

“Oh no, too hard!” was the chorus.

“I’ll do a little each week, before the class, to show you how to build up an oil painting.”

By the time I came to complete the highlights, the vine put on a special display for me, complete with honey eaters and butterflies, so I called this painting, “Serendipity”.
